CHEMICAL TREATMENT
One of the most delicate processes occurs in the chemical processing treatment plant. It is here where the stakes are treated in order to guarantee the best chemical penetration for preservation purposes and durability in the fields.
A new moisture measurement is done at this stage to determine the exact chemical concentration levels necessary to achieve the target retention in the stake.
After pressure treatment, the stakes are removed from the cylinder and the retention level is measured on every charge. The results are determined in our quality control lab and registered for future tracking. A quality control seal is then printed on the bundle affirming proper treatment and releasing the bundle for export to the United States.
This meticulous and well controlled process is the best in the industry. We believe that our stakes have the fewest knots, the truest dimensions and the most consistent treating levels in the industry. This quality translates into less breakage and ultimately less expense for our customers
