Our products are produced with Honduran pinewood, which because of its high density makes it a strain and crack resistant wood. It is also an easily treated wood for preservation.

 

With all the special benefits of Honduran Pine wood plus all SERPROMA special quality controls implemented through the various processes of production of wooden stakes we can ensure every one of our customers that the final product is of the highest quality in the market.

 

Every stake manufactured has been dried to moisture content below 25% before being treated, which allows for full penetration of the preservative. If this step is omitted, preservatives cannot penetrate into the wood and the stake will have a much shorter lifespan, as short as one (01) year. We are the only supplier who dries all of our stakes. The chemical treatment used is arsenic free and is based on micronized copper and tebuconazole technology.

 

The treatment levels we use are sufficient to protect the stake for up to10 years against fungal decay and insects, however, the expected life of most stakes is 4-6 years due to weathering and rough handling.

 

Our wooden stakes range from 24 ", 48'', 54'', 60'', 72'' and 84'' long with various thickness dimensions. If you require a special size we are able to do so as the need of our client.
